2022… Signed, Sealed & Delivered.
2022… what a whirlwind. Another year done and dusted, with 2023 on the near horizon. We are firstly very grateful to have the normalcy return to a levelled capacity after covid threw a spanner in the works. This life changing event highlighted the importance of connection. Being able to connect with people is one of life’s many given treasures and especially as hairdressers, making others happy is always at the forefront.
Individually each of us here at the Studio have looked at the year in reflection and feel like there are some key takeaways’ that we would like to share with you.
There is never an end destination, life is one big continual journey.
Quite literally one step at a time is how we get through life and coming to the realisation that you never quite reach an ‘end’ is so powerful. It’s a nice reminder that even the small things add up and should never go unnoticed.
To remain true to who you are.
Understanding and doing the things that make YOU happy and not just to please other people attracts the right company. By laying a solid foundation within yourself you’re creating a confidence which is attractive. Everybody’s confidence projects in different ways or different extents but remaining true to yourself should always be a priority. We only have ourselves at the end of the day right?
Never assume anything. You never know what other individuals are going through, so be as kind and as caring as possible to everyone.
No explanation necessary. Leading with kindness and compassion especially over the holiday season might make an impact in somebody’s life without you even knowing it.
Balance.
We have all collectively come to the understanding that life is meant to be lived and it isn’t always about making money or buying materialistic items. It’s about enjoying the slow mornings, telling somebody you love them and giving your mates a big hug. Love and life are beautiful things.
Don’t take life so seriously.
We only get one life so why should we spend all our time worried about things that might not even happen or people who don’t deserve your time and energy. Your journey will look different to everyone’s surrounding you, so let’s not compare and remember that life is non linear. Let’s dial right back to basics and focus on the simple things. Those small details are what make us human and humans aren’t always perfect.
