12: NOT YOUR AVERAGE EDUCATION DAY WITH ROCA VERDE

That’s another Not Your Average Education Day done and dusted at The Studio Upstairs and what a blast it was. This time we had the incredible Sara Briscoe and Cass Kallas from Sunshine Coast’s Roca Verde Hair Studio join our creative director Jess Longhurst for two action-packed days of learning, networking and so many laughs. These powerhouses were incredibly inspiring to work alongside, and we are so grateful to be able to come together and share our passion to educate and inspire.

The vibes were high across both days which saw 6 hair model demonstrations including bronde-kissed looks, blondes and balayage, as well as a spicy copper transformation. The workshops were filled with education on cutting and foiling techniques, styling tips, general business advice, not to mention a yummy lunch with a few cheeky mimosa’s and awesome goodie bags thanks to our sponsors. 

A huge thank you to the beautiful stylists that attended the workshop - it’s so fulfilling seeing like-minded people from across the country come together to connect and share in their passion for what we do. We’re truly humbled to be a part of such an amazing industry that is really starting to break down the old stereotypes of competition!
