Kevin Murphy

First and foremost we work with and stock Kevin Murphy due to their commitment to sustainable products and their understanding of how much harm the production process of any product can have on the environment. Our environmental impact is at the forefront of how the business is run because of the beautiful corner of the world we live in. If we all do out part and prioritise even a few environmentally friendly practices it will make a significant difference in our environmental footprint. By being a Sustainable Salons salon we are able to make sure our waste is being disposed of mindfully and repurposed for things like mopping up oil spills and plastic recirculation.

With this in mind, we value that Kevin Murphy’s products are packaged in 100% Ocean Waste Plastic which is then also upcycled after use. They’re committed to using the best natural ingredients to ensure the range is of the highest natural quality, ensuring the health of your hair while remaining environmentally conscious. Their products are colour safe, sulphate free, paraben-free and cruelty-free.

The one Kevin Murphy product you need…

Everyone’s hair needs are so different! But, living beachside, everyone needs a heat protectant like Kevin Murphy’s Heated Defence to help restore and replenish the hair, and help dryness. You can never go wrong with a little lightweight cleansing shampoo like Maxi Wash to cleanse away the salt and chlorine in Summer.

The perfect Kevin Murphy routine looks like…

Start with the Angel Wash shampoo - it’s lightweight and effortlessly cleanses the hair, followed by a Restore Rinse to condition and intensely hydrate. To style, you can’t go wrong with the Hair Resort spray. Sprayed onto towel-dried hair, this is a leave-in product that creates an effortless beach textured wave for little to no work.

Eco Modern Essentials

Visiting the salon isn’t just a hair appointment, it’s an experience and we love to pamper our clients. Eco Modern Essentials is a relaxing add on to our hair appointments, used during your pre-treatment neck and shoulder massage to really treat yourself and enjoy your time here. We even have the Eco Modern Essentials zodiac range available, so your massage is done with an oil that is specific to your star sign and really taps into all of your chakras. These are all available to purchase and take home to add to your oil diffuser.

Bhave

We are so lucky to be in our little heavenly beachside locations. Being so close to the beach, most of our clients are after a fuss-free hairstyle that is low maintenance but looks the goods! The Bhave treatment is a keratin smoothing treatment leaving the hair frizz-free, taming curls and maintaining a natural wave for a more finished look with naturally dried hair. It is essential for the busy but beachy chick, and lasts 3-6 months so is perfect for Summer for that beach to lunch look.
