Meet Grace

Welcome Grace Walker!

My name is Grace and I grew up on the Central Coast, NSW! 

I have always loved the Gold Coast and have wanted to move here for years until my partner and I finally took the leap in February this year.

I have been in the hair industry since 2019 and have worked at 3 salons in my time where I have worked alongside some amazing hairdressers and I have loved every minute of it! I feel like doing hair came pretty naturally to me and I believe if you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life, and i absolutely do! My passion lies with bright lived in blondes, sparkly balayages and of course we can’t forget about bright poppy face frames. I also love finishing my colours with big bouncy blowdrys or soft beachy waves! I have always had a passion for hair from braiding my friends hair on lunch breaks in high school, to being the designated stylist before a night out.

I’m a true believer that when you look good you feel good and I absolutely love being able to give people that empowering confidence that we all feel walking out of the salon! 

Fun fact:

A fun fact about me is that i did gymnastics as a kid and i never lost the ability to do a backflip.

Three things you cannot live without:

Three things I couldn’t live without are coffee, sunshine and my trusty ghd curling tong! 

When is Grace her happiest self?

I am my absolute happiest self when in the ocean even though I’m terrified of being eaten by a shark.

Advice you would give your younger self: 

A piece of advice I wish I could tell my younger self would be to believe in yourself, trust your gut and don’t let other people’s view of you alter your own.
