Welcome Ryan Wakefield

Introducing a fun loving, talented, Brissy born and GC hinterland bred darling, Ryan! Starting his first apprenticeship at a salon in Carindale, he really took to colouring and styling throughout the learning process. Studying the techniques and tools used by top stylists and colourists, Ryan found himself in his most recent position as a Colour Educator at Edwards and Co in Brisbane, QLD. Becoming a wiz at lived in & low maintenance colour, but having a love for copper looks, Ryan continues to showcase his talent through each and every long lasting colour he creates. Finishing and styling each and every individual with something that truly compliments their colour, Ryan is a master at helping everyone walk out with a unique touch. With an infectious positive attitude exuding a beautiful energy, Ryan is a valued asset to the TSU family and we are so grateful to have him. 

A bit more about Ryan

How did you get into hairdressing and why do you love it? 

- I actually didn’t know what I wanted to when I left high school, so I gave Hairdressing a go & absolutely LOVED how my creativity started to flow and how passionate I became to make people feel their HOTTEST SELF!

Tell us a fun fact about you. 

- A fun fact about myself is I used to be a competitive horse rider & also I can wiggle my ears 👂 

Where is Ryan when he is his absolute happiest self?

- I’m happiest when spending time with my friends & family & having a cheeky little boogie 🤪

What is one piece of advice you wish you could’ve told your younger self? 

- Don’t sweat the small stuff, everything happens for a reason
